I have had a number of blogs over the years on different platforms and all of them slowly drifted away, never to be updated again. So here I am starting another one with its own domain and a customized wordpress installation on my own server. The name of my blog is “Dream Out Loud” which is a quote from Bono used many times live in concert, its also a lyric from the u2 song “Zooropa”. It’s the perfect name for my blog because not only am I a huge U2 fan, but “Dream Out Loud” has sorta become the motto for my life. I decided a long time ago that life is way too short to spend time doing stuff I don’t love, so I’m an internet entrepreneur. I love the internet, it is such a great tool for communication, entertainment, and business. When I started working online, it was all about selling product and I was very good at it and made lots of money doing it but it was an empty pursuit. The internet is about much more than selling a product. I want to create something great and then hope it can make some money. This blog will sometimes have posts and links to projects I’m working on it, but it mostly be about my ideas and things that entertain me. My close friends are all busy with jobs and kids and they appreciate the cool stuff I find online ( software, music, movies, websites, etc) it’s stuff they may never have the time to discover. So now I can share these things with the readers of this blog too. It’s a place where I can “dream out loud”.
